Senior Bazel Engineer

We are hiring Senior Bazel Engineer for the position based in Lund (Onsite).

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Bazel Engineer to lead and drive Bazel modernization in a large-scale engineering environment. The role involves setting up Bazel, writing custom rules, implementing processes, handling stakeholders, and training teams. You will architect scalable solutions, collaborate with multiple teams, and enable improved developer experience within complex monorepos.

 Required Experience/Competences:

• Over 10 Years of total experience, with a minimum of 7 years working with Bazel.
• Deep expertise with modern Bazel versions, rule writing, and build processes.
• Experience with large-scale monorepos and complex build systems.
• Strong collaboration, stakeholder management, and knowledge sharing skills.
• Passion for build system architecture and developer tooling innovation.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and platform challenges under pressure.
