Data Engineer

We are hiring Data Engineer (Azure & Data bricks) for location Sverige.

Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer, 6-9y of experience, to our IT department Asset Analytics Distribution.

Duties are:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure and Databricks.
• Ingest, transform, and model data from diverse sources to enable reliable analytics and reporting.
• Develop semantic models and create Power BI reports to support data-driven decision making.
• Perform data quality checks, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Document and communicate data engineering processes and outcomes.
• Support data awareness and training initiatives within the organization.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective data
  solutions.

Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computational Engineering Science, Computer Science, Information Systems,
or related field.

Skills:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as Data engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, Databricks, SQL, Python and (including CICD).
• Experience with data ingestion, transformation, and semantic modelling.
• Hands-on experience and confident working with large data volumes is a plus (tables holding trillion of rows ).
• Knowledge of data warehousing, data modelling, and ETL concepts.
• Familiarity with Power BI.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, and Azure Storage Explorer.
• Excellent communication skills Swedish and English
