Senior Backend Engineer with Data Engineering Skills (C++ / Python)

We are hiring Senior Backend Engineer with Data Engineering Skills (C++ / Python) for the position based in Stockholm, Sweden (Hybrid).

Educational Qualification: Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information technology or related field.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with strong Data Engineering focuses on building, evolving, and operating scalable backend and data solutions that support large-scale, data-intensive systems. You will work closely with engineers and stakeholders, contribute to architectural decisions, and help ensure reliable, high-quality data products in a production environment.

Required Experience/Competences:

• 7–8 years of experience in Backend software engineering and/or data engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with C++ and Python (or similar languages such as Go or Rust).
• Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Experience with event-driven and streaming architectures (Kafka or similar technologies).
• Strong understanding of system reliability, observability, and production operations.
• Domain experience in large-scale data platforms or similar complex data domains.
