Senior Software Engineer/Integration Developer

We are hiring Senior Software Engineer/Integration Developer for Sweden.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer / Integration developer to take end-to-end technical ownership of migration and stabilization activities across business-critical insurance and pension integrations.The role focuses on safely migrating legacy and hybrid services while minimizing business disruption. You will work independently in complex enterprise environments and collaborate closely with infrastructure, DBA, IBM MQ, and operations teams.This is an individual contributor role with no people management responsibility, requiring strong hands-on experience in legacy .NET technologies, production troubleshooting, integrations, deployment, and migration execution.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Execute migration tasks across legacy and modern components.
• Validate environment parity and eliminate runtime blockers before cutover.
• Diagnose and fix production critical issues in services, queues, and integrations.
• Build and run end-to-end migration verification and rollback tests.
• Produce concise runbooks and deployment notes for repeatable execution.
• Ensure all acceptance criteria are met before go or no-go decisions.

Technical Skills & Expertise:

• 6–9 Years of Software Engineer experience. 
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET Framework 4.x.
• Exposure to .NET Framework 3.5 is a plus.
• Experience maintaining and migrating WCF, SOAP, and ASMX services.
• Strong knowledge of IIS deployment and troubleshooting, including:
• Experience with Windows Services and Task Scheduler-based batch operations.
• Strong SQL Server troubleshooting skills and understanding of secure configuration handling.
• Practical knowledge of IBM MQ integration, including:
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell automation for deployment, verification, and operations.
• Experience with TFS and Git-based workflows and collaboration with CI/CD pipelines.
• General knowledge of PKI (Public Key Infrastructure).

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills. 
• Proactive, collaborative, and quality-focused. 
• Fluent in English and Swedish.
