System Engineer

We are hiring System Engineer for the position based in Lund, Sweden (Onsite).

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced System Engineer with a strong focus on tooling and system configuration to support the development and optimization of requirement management workflows. This role involves improving processes related to requirement breakdown, specification development, and implementation traceability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline requirement handling, reduce manual effort, eliminate inefficiencies, and enhance the quality and consistency of system specifications. The role also includes developing tooling solutions and supporting teams in applying structured specifications across a multi-product environment.

Required Experience/Competences:

• 10+ years of experience in System engineering, software engineering, or related roles. 
• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Experience with requirement management and specification tools (e.g., Sphinx Needs, SystemWeaver or similar).
• Hands-on experience with Git and code review tools (e.g., Gerrit).
• Familiarity with documentation and design tools such as Markdown and PlantUML.
• Strong understanding of system configuration, requirement traceability, and validation processes.
• Experience working in complex, large-scale system environments.
• Knowledge of multi-product environments and distributed systems is a plus.
