Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Python Engineer to join a long-term engineering assignment in Malmö. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python and backend development, with hands-on experience building APIs, integrations, and scalable applications.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree Software Engineering, or a related field.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Backend & API Development: Build, integrate, and maintain scalable Python backend applications, REST APIs, and database solutions using SQL and NoSQL.

Cloud, Collaboration & Quality: Deploy and support cloud-based solutions on AWS, ensure code quality and performance, and collaborate onsite with engineers and stakeholders.
Technical Skills & Expertise:
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong expertise in Python.
- Strong experience in Python backend development.
- Experience working with APIs, integrations, SQL/NoSQL and database management.
- Knowledge with software testing, debugging, and quality practices.
- Practical experience with AWS and cloud-based application development.
- Experience with microservices, distributed systems, JavaScript/HTMX and AI/GenAI considered advantageous.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote and international project environment.
