AI Platform Engineer

We are hiring AI Platform Engineer for Sweden.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an AI Platform Engineer to design and build a next-generation cloud platform for Alarm Intelligence. The role combines cloud architecture, machine learning infrastructure, data engineering, and software engineering to enable scalable AI services across multiple countries and large volumes of security events. The role is highly hands-on, requiring both architectural leadership and strong software engineering expertise to support AI model training, real-time inference, data processing, monitoring, and continuous improvement. 

Educational Qualification: Relevant university degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience. 

Key Responsibilities:

• AI & Cloud Architecture: Design and implement cloud-native AI platforms and services, define scalable cloud infrastructure, and support both edge-based and cloud-based AI capabilities.
• Data Engineering, Machine Learning & MLOps: Build and optimise data ingestion, processing, storage, and analysis pipelines, develop machine learning infrastructure for training, deployment, monitoring, and experimentation, and automate MLOps workflows across the AI lifecycle.
• Monitoring, Reliability & Collaboration: Establish monitoring, observability, reliability, and operational practices while collaborating with Machine Learning Engineers, Data Engineers, Architects, and Software Engineers, providing technical guidance and support to engineering teams.

Technical Skills & Expertise:

• Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong experience designing and operating large-scale cloud-native systems.
• Strong experience with AWS, distributed systems, and cloud architecture.
• Experience with Python, serverless architectures, APIs, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Experience with Lambda, S3, Infrastructure as Code, cloud networking, security, and IAM.
• Experience building AI platforms, ML infrastructure, or large-scale data platforms.
• Strong knowledge of MLOps, model deployment, training infrastructure, and ML lifecycle management.
• Experience with data lakes, ETL/ELT, streaming pipelines, and data quality.
• Experience with production systems requiring high availability, reliability, and scalability.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Computer Vision, Edge AI, IoT, or Embedded AI.
• Experience with real-time inference platforms.
• Experience with alarm intelligence or security products.
• Knowledge of model optimization and inference performance.
• Experience with event-driven architectures.
