We are hiring Data Engineer for the position based in Stockholm, Sweden (Hybrid).
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Data Engineer to strengthening the data foundations used to represent, challenge, and analyze chargeback disputes raised by card schemes. You will work closely with stakeholders across Payments, Risk, and Operations to ensure that chargeback-related data is reliable, traceable, auditable, and fit for performance analysis and dispute evidence.
Required Experience/Competences:
- 7-8 years of experience in Data Engineering, including end-to-end pipeline development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL.
- Experience working with Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools.
- Experience in Banking, Payments, or Financial Services.
- Familiarity with card schemes and chargeback processes.

- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Focused on continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for assigned responsibilities.
