Data Engineer

We are hiring Data Engineer for the position based in Malmö, Sweden (on-site).

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Data Engineer to design and implement data-intensive solutions that empower a truly data-driven organization. with strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in dbt, Databricks, and a solid understanding of data lakehouse architectures. The successful candidates will join one of our data teams: Network Operations or Asset Management.

 Required Experience/Competences:

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and modern data transformation frameworks such as dbt.
• Experience working with Git (preferably GitLab).
• Hands-on experience in Databricks (Spark, Unity Catalog).
• Strong understanding of data lake and data lakehouse architectures (e.g., Parquet, Iceberg, Delta Lake)

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams to deliver business value through data.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
• Proven ability to understand complex systems and collaborate directly with customers and stakeholders.
