We are hiring Senior Cyber Security Engineer for Sweden.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to operate, troubleshoot and improve cloud-based cyber defence platforms, telemetry pipelines and integrations. You will work as a senior individual contributor, collaborating with SOC analysts and other engineering teams to turn operational requirements into reliable, reusable solutions.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Platform Operations & Engineering: Operate, monitor, and scale cloud-based cyber defense platforms, telemetry pipelines, and integrations using Python, Terraform, Git, and CI/CD while ensuring high service health, security, and cost efficiency.

Technical Leadership & Collaboration: Lead technical initiatives, collaborate with SOC analysts and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver reliable solutions, and maintain comprehensive documentation and runbooks.
Technical Skills & Expertise:
- 6+ years of experience as a cyber security Engineer.
- Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure engineering experience.
- Good Linux skills, including navigating and troubleshooting virtual machines, containers and services.
- Practical Python development and automation experience.
- Experience with Terraform, Git and CI/CD.
- Experience with containers, preferably Kubernetes.
- Security engineering, SIEM/SOAR, Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR or large-scale telemetry experience is highly desirable.
- Azure certification is preferred.
Soft Skills:
- Demonstrated technical leadership as a senior individual contributor, without needing formal personnel-management experience.
- Ability to make sound engineering decisions independently.
- Strong collaboration across SOC analysts and engineering teams.
