We are hiring Senior Windchill Developer for the position based in Lund, Sweden (Onsite).
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Windchill Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions using PTC Windchill. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Windchill modules, customization frameworks, and PLM processes, with the ability to deliver scalable solutions that support engineering and manufacturing operations. This role involves hands-on development, system configuration, performance optimization, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance product lifecycle workflows.
Required Experience/Competences:
- Windchill Platform Expertise: Strong experience with PTC Windchill modules including PDMLink, ProjectLink, MPMLink, PartsLink, BOM management, Part Management, and Engineering Change workflows in enterprise PLM environments.
- Windchill Customization & Development: Expertise in Java-based Windchill customizations including business rules, utilities, plugins, workflow development, Info*Engine tasks, and UI extensions using JSP/HTML.
- Integration & APIs: Experience building integrations using Windchill REST APIs, Info*Engine, and other frameworks to connect PLM with enterprise systems such as ERP, manufacturing, or engineering applications.
- System Administration & Stability: Experience managing Windchill upgrades, patches, licensing, environment configurations, performance tuning, and implementing backup, recovery, and security practices.
- Data Migration & Management: Strong knowledge of PLM data migration, bulk import/export of CAD and metadata, migration across Windchill versions or other PLM systems while ensuring data integrity and relationships.
- PLM & Engineering Domain Knowledge: Understanding of product development lifecycle and engineering change processes with familiarity in CAD tools like PTC Creo, SolidWorks, and Siemens NX.
