Test Development Engineer / Production Test Engineer

We are hiring Test Development Engineer / Production Test Engineer for Sweden.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Test Development Engineer / Production Test Engineer to join Ericsson’s development team in Borås. The role focuses on the development, integration, verification, and maintenance of production testing solutions for electronic products and systems.

Educational Qualification: Degree or relevant educational background in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, integrate, verify, and maintain hardware and software solutions for production test systems.
• Develop and improve automated test solutions to support efficient and reliable manufacturing.
• Validate and test product prototypes prior to production release.
• Troubleshoot and analyze technical issues across hardware, software, and test environments.
• Work closely with product development and manufacturing teams to identify and implement improvements.
• Participate in planning and execution of design sprints together with the development team.
• Document test solutions, product development activities, test results, and technical processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of production test methods, processes, and tools.
• Analyze test data and identify opportunities for optimization and increased test coverage.
• Work independently on assigned tasks while actively contributing to team objectives.

Required Qualifications:

• 7-8 years of professional experience in electronics manufacturing or a related production environment.
• Foundational understanding of electronics and electronic systems.
• Experience or understanding of programming using C#.

Preferred / Advantageous Skills

• Experience or knowledge in any of the following areas will be considered an advantage:
• LabVIEW, measurement instruments, digital systems, object-oriented programming, RF and microwave development, or agile methodologies
