Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are hiring Senior Mechanical Engineer for Sweden.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer will contribute to the development of sustainable engine technology, with a focus on muffler design, verification, and system performance. The role is suited for someone with experience in EATS muffler or UDS development who combines strong technical knowledge with curiosity and willingness to collaborate across different functions and technologies. You will be involved throughout the development process, from concept generation and requirement setting to testing, validation, analysis, and documentation. 

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security or a related field, or equivalent experience. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Engineering & Product Development: Lead the end-to-end development of EATS solutions and muffler designs for demanding thermal and vibration environments, managing everything from concept generation and requirements setting to testing, validation, analysis, and documentation.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with component owners, test and simulation engineers, project managers, and suppliers to share technical knowledge, drive problem-solving, and foster strong collaborative relationships that continuously improve sustainable solutions.

Technical Skills & Expertise:

• 6+ years of experience in Mechanical engineering or related development.
• Experience in EATS muffler or UDS development.
• Strong mechanical design and product development knowledge.
• Experience with design and development of components for demanding thermal and vibration environments.
• Experience with CAD tools.
• Understanding of verification, testing, validation, analysis, and documentation.
• Experience with KOLA.
• Experience specifically within EATS muffler design and development.
• Experience collaborating with suppliers and multiple engineering functions.
• Strong interest in developing a broader systems perspective.
