AI Software Engineer – Semantic Data & LLM

We are hiring AI Software Engineer – Semantic Data & LLM for Sweden.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced AI Software Engineer – Semantic Data & LLM to join a data platform team focused on semantic modelling, Large Language Models (LLMs), and unstructured data You will develop LLM-powered agents that combine enterprise data warehouse information with document-based knowledge, build document processing and entity extraction pipelines, and implement secure retrieval solutions that maintain data permissions and source traceability.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. 

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End AI & Agentic Development: Design, build, and maintain well-tested, production-grade AI applications, RAG workflows, and LLM-based agents in Python and/or TypeScript that seamlessly integrate structured data warehouses (SQL/relational models) with unstructured document content.

• Data Pipelines, Retrieval & Governance: Develop document processing pipelines (parsing, entity resolution, information extraction, and vector search) and extend governed semantic layers across data sources, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure high accuracy, performance, access permission compliance, and source traceability.

Technical Skills & Expertise:

• 5+ years of experience building and operating production systems with well-tested code.. 
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript. 
• Hands-on experience working with unstructured data and document processing.
• Experience with information extraction, entity resolution, embeddings, and retrieval techniques.
• Practical experience building LLM-based applications, preferably using agents and RAG.
• Strong SQL skills and a good understanding of relational data models and data warehouses.
• Experience semantic modelling or semantic layers, for example dbt Semantic Layer or Malloy.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Snowflake or data governance.
• Experience with with ontologies or knowledge graphs
