Senior Product Owner (Expert)

We are hiring Senior Product Owner (Expert) for Sweden.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Product Owner to co-lead a large-scale global platform transformation. The assignment covers three tightly connected objectives: driving adoption and value realization of the strategic platform, leading the phase-out of the legacy solution through a controlled transition, and driving global deployment and adoption across markets with significant differences in needs, readiness, dependencies and ways of working. This is not primarily a backlog-management role; it requires a senior product leader who can connect strategy, platform evolution, adoption, migration and execution across a global organization and multiple teams.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Shape and continuously evolve the product strategy and a clear multi-year roadmap, balancing platform evolution, market adoption, migration and legacy phase-out.
• Drive global adoption and deployment, sequencing and prioritizing rollouts by value, dependencies and readiness, and coordinating product, market and organizational readiness.
• Lead the product perspective of the legacy-to-strategic platform transition: set transition priorities, balance investment, align on migration requirements and challenge unnecessary legacy dependencies.
• Make strategic trade-offs between global standardization and legitimate local market needs without unnecessarily fragmenting the global product.
• Lead across multiple teams, products/components and organizational boundaries; manage critical dependencies, risks and constraints; make difficult prioritization decisions.
• Act as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders across markets, business functions and technology teams, building alignment and escalating selectively.
• Define and track measures for adoption, migration progress, product performance and business/user outcomes, using data and market feedback to adapt priorities and drive corrective action.

Technical Skills & Expertise:

• 7+ years of experience at expert level in Product Owner / senior product leadership roles.
• Global platform rollout and adoption experience.
• Legacy-to-target platform migration and phase-out experience.
• Product leadership in a multi-market / multi-country organization.
• Ownership of platform products with significant integrations and dependencies.
• Experience in organizational or technology transformation within complex stakeholder and change environments.
• Proven ability to balance global standardization with market-specific requirements.
• Strong command of multi-year roadmapping, outcome definition and value realization measurement.

Soft Skills:

• Ability to influence without formal authority, align stakeholders with differing priorities and resolve conflicting perspectives.
• Clear, decision-oriented communication of complex product and transformation topics to senior stakeholders.
• Creates clarity in ambiguity and maintains momentum in an environment of significant change.
