We are Hiring Data Engineer for the location Stockholm, Sweden (95% Remote).
Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with strong experience in cloud-based data platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role involves building, optimizing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data-driven solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support data integration, transformation, and analytics within an Agile environment.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Required Qualifications:
- 7–10+ years of experience in Data engineering or related roles.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling concepts.
- Strong programming experience in Python.
- Hands-on experience with DBT for data transformation.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.
- Experience with GitHub for version control.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Understanding of at least one BI/reporting tool.
- Basic knowledge of Azure cloud services.
- Experience with Informatica or other ETL tools.
- Exposure to data migration projects across cloud platforms.
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in distributed teams.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
