We are hiring Mobile Application Test Engineer for Sweden.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced consultant specializing in the testing and test automation of mobile applications to join our test team, which focuses on the development of handheld products and their associated applications. You will play a key role in the quality assurance of our Android- and iOS-based applications, collaborating closely with test leads, test engineers, developers and product owners to ensure high quality throughout the entire development process. The work takes place in an international environment, involving interaction with several different development teams.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, execute, and maintain functional, regression, and automated test cases for iOS and Android mobile applications within CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze test results, document issues, and drive continuous testing process improvements.
Technical Skills & Expertise:
- 3+ years of experience in testing mobile applications.
- Documented experience with test automation for Android and/or iOS.
- Solid understanding of software testing throughout the entire development lifecycle.
- Experience working in agile development teams.
- Experience working with CI/CD-based test automation.
- Experience with Appium or similar tools for mobile application test automation is meritorious.
- Programming skills in Python are meritorious, and experience with Kotlin, Java or other object-oriented programming languages is also an advantage.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitLab or other CI/CD platforms is meritorious.
- Experience testing connected products, IoT or embedded systems is meritorious.
- Experience testing with physical hardware is meritorious.
- Experience with communication via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or other wireless communication protocols is meritorious.
Soft Skills:
- Self-driven and structured in their way of working.
- Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
- Collaborative and works closely with developers, product owners and other stakeholders.
