Senior Data / Information system

We are hiring Senior Data / Information Manager  for Sweden.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data / Information Manager to support a large-scale transformation from traditional Data Management towards AI-ready Data Management. You will strengthen Data Management capabilities across the organization, ensuring data is governed, trusted, understood and structured to support AI, advanced analytics and future digital capabilities. You will bridge the gap between strategic objectives and practical implementation, working closely with business areas and cross-functional stakeholders.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information management, Data Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop practical Data Management frameworks, principles, standards and ways of working, and help teams adopt them.
• Translate strategic Data Management objectives into concrete improvements, implementation and measurable results.
• Contribute to the development of enterprise data and information models, semantic and context layers, and the alignment of business concepts, metadata and technical data structures.
• Create consistent meaning, improve data discoverability and interoperability, and enable reuse across business processes, analytics and AI solutions.
• Work across Data Governance, Data Quality, Master Data Management, Metadata Management, Information Architecture and data ownership.
• Identify gaps in current practices and propose improvements.

Technical Skills & Expertise:

• At least 7+ years of professional experience in Data Management, Information Management, Data Governance or related areas.
• At least 5 years of experience supporting or leading enterprise-level Data and Information Management transformation in complex organizations.
• Strong experience establishing and implementing Data Management frameworks, principles, standards and operating models.
• Solid expertise in Data Governance, Data Quality, Master Data Management, Metadata Management and Information Architecture.
• Experience developing and governing enterprise data and information models, including conceptual models, business glossaries, taxonomies or ontologies.
• Strong knowledge of semantic modelling and context layers, and of how business concepts, metadata and technical data structures connect to improve discoverability, interoperability and reuse.
• Strong understanding of AI-ready Data Management and how governance, data quality, metadata and information architecture support AI and advanced analytics.

Soft Skills:

• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Knowledge of Swedish is meritorious, particularly for collaboration with local stakeholders.
• Collaborative, proactive and delivery-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership.
