Embedded Linux Developer

We are hiring Embedded Linux Developer for Sweden.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Embedded Linux Developer will have strong expertise in embedded Linux development, particularly in Linux kernel development, device drivers, Board Support Packages (BSPs), and hardware bring-up. You will collaborate closely with hardware and embedded software teams to develop, configure, integrate, and troubleshoot embedded Linux systems for custom hardware platforms

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Embedded Linux & Software Development: Develop, configure, and maintain embedded Linux systems, Board Support Packages (BSPs), bootloaders, and kernel device drivers, utilizing Yocto and C/C++ for real-time, multithreaded applications while diagnosing and resolving complex kernel-level defects.

• Hardware Bring-Up & Integration: Perform hardware bring-up for prototype boards, adapt silicon vendor reference designs, and collaborate closely with hardware engineering teams to seamlessly integrate new silicon and troubleshoot hardware-software integration issues.

Technical Skills & Expertise:

• 7+ years of experience in embedded software development, with strong expertise in Embedded Linux. 
• Solid experience developing Linux kernel device drivers or kernel modules. 
• Strong programming skills in C and C++ for embedded systems. 
• Proven experience introducing new silicon into embedded Linux platforms. 
• Experience working with silicon vendors to adapt reference designs and validation tests to custom hardware. 
• Familiarity with open-source community practices and collaboration, particularly within the Linux kernel and related system tool communities.
