Senior Platform Engineer / Developer

We are hiring Senior Platform Engineer / Developer for Sweden.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer / Developer Experience Engineer is suited for someone with a strong software development background who has transitioned into Platform Engineering and understands developers’ day-to-day needs. You will contribute to building an internal developer platform using AWS, Kubernetes, and GitOps, focusing on reusable capabilities, standardized tooling, and improving developer productivity

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science,or a related discipline. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and Build Scalable Developer Platforms: Create reusable components, APIs, and self-service solutions using AWS, Kubernetes, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code to simplify infrastructure management through higher-level abstractions.

• Enhance Developer Experience and Workflows: Collaborate with development teams using a product mindset to streamline CI/CD, local development, and deployments, leveraging AI-assisted tools to boost overall productivity and reduce complexity.

Technical Skills & Expertise:

• 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Software Development, or related fields.
• Strong background in software development, preferably backend or full-stack development.
• Experience transitioning into Platform Engineering, Developer Experience (DevEx), or Developer Productivity.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes and its ecosystem.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience developing Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs), developer tooling, APIs, CLIs, or self-service solutions.
• Understanding of developers’ daily workflows, including local development, testing, CI/CD, deployments, and debugging.
• Experience or interest in AI-assisted development and modern developer tooling. AI must be clearly stated in the CV.
