Senior Platform Engineer / Tooling Developer

We are hiring Senior Platform Engineer / Tooling Developer for Sweden.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Platform Engineer / Tooling Developer with a strong background in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, GitOps, and automation. You will design, build, and operate cloud-native platforms that provide reusable capabilities and standardized tooling. The role involves developing internal platform tooling, automation, and self-service solutions to reduce cognitive load for developers and improve productivity. You will contribute to building a seamless developer experience by enabling teams to focus on software delivery rather than infrastructure management.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Key Responsibilities:

• Platform & Infrastructure: Design, build, and operate cloud‑native platforms on AWS and Kubernetes, implementing GitOps workflows and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
• Tooling & Automation: Develop internal platform tooling, automation, and self‑service capabilities, while maintaining CI/CD pipelines and observability across cloud operations.
• Collaboration & Productivity: Partner with development teams to deliver platform solutions and drive initiatives that enhance developer productivity through AI‑assisted engineering workflows.

Technical Skills & Expertise:

• 6+  years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-native architecture.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes (designing, deploying, and operating production environments).
• Strong experience with GitOps practices and tools.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar).
• Experience developing automation scripts and platform tools.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, observability, reliability, and cloud operations.
• Experience building scalable, reusable infrastructure components.
• Demonstrated interest and experience in AI-assisted engineering workflows (must be stated in CV).
