Software Engineer Core Engineering / Platform Core

We are hiring Senior Software Engineer for Sweden.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead across these capabilities, you will establish the technical direction, drive the platform agenda, and lead two engineering squads day-to-day. Platform Core provides the core engineering platform used by all development teams, managing how code and artifacts move from idea to production. 

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science and related engineering field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as technical lead and architecture authority across Platform Core capabilities: source control, artifact management, software supply chain security, secrets management, keyless identity, and CI/CD.
• Drive the technical platform agenda: define, approve and document standards, reference architectures and golden paths that engineering teams build on.
• Own architecture and security decisions for the area, and move capabilities from “in place” to governed and measurable.
• Lead on software supply chain security and secrets, including ongoing tooling transitions.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership to the engineering teams (leading two squads day-to-day): set direction, review design, unblock delivery, and raise the technical bar.
• Partner with security, architecture and product stakeholders to align the platform roadmap.

 Required Qualifications:

• 7-8+ of experience with SDLC platform tooling: GitHub, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD), artifact management (Artifactory), secrets management (Vault / Infisical), supply chain security (scanning and curation).
• Strong security engineering background: identity, secrets, keyless / token authentication, and supply chain.
• Experience defining standards, reference architectures, and governance for a large engineering organisation.
• Infrastructure as Code and cloud platform experience.
• Mandatory proficiency in English.

• Ability to drive a complex technical agenda and influence decisions across multiple teams without direct authority.
• Skillful at collaborating and aligning platform roadmaps with security, architecture, and product stakeholders.
• Excellent capability to guide engineering teams, conduct design reviews, unblock technical delivery, and raise standard performance.
• Strong capacity to establish golden paths, define reference architectures, and translate platform goals into measurable standards.
