Senior Finance Process & ERP Consultant

We are hiring Senior Finance Process & ERP Consultant for Sweden.

Job Summary:
As a Finance Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will play a critical role in defining, designing, and implementing the future finance operating model and managing the transition to a standalone company environment. You will lead finance process design within a new ERP implementation project, drive standardization across key financial operations, and support organizational change management and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

• Finance Operations & Governance: Lead project accounting, internal audits, policy establishment, and tax/accounting compliance while transitioning from group services to in-house operations.
• Process Optimization: Drive standardization and continuous improvement across Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
• Operating Model & Organization Design: Define and design the future finance operating model, including organizational structure, role descriptions, and process documentation.
• ERP & Systems Leadership: Serve as Finance SME and Super User; manage vendor selection, solution design, testing, deployment, and change management for the new ERP implementation.

Education

• Required: University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• Beneficial: Additional education or certifications in ERP systems, finance transformation, or project management.

Qualifications & Experience

Must Have

• Financial & Accounting Expertise: Extensive experience in financial accounting, reporting, month-end/quarter-end/year-end closing, VAT, corporate taxation, and statutory reporting.
• Core Process Knowledge: Deep understanding of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), project accounting, fixed assets, and investment accounting.
• Finance Transformation & Design: Documented experience establishing or transforming finance organizations (defining processes, structure, role descriptions, governance, internal controls, and continuous improvement).
• ERP Leadership: Hands-on experience as an ERP Super User or Finance Systems Lead, with extensive background in ERP implementation, upgrade, or transformation programs.
• Key Skills: Strong stakeholder management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate independently in a changing environment.
• Languages: Fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English.

Preferred:

• Experience establishing a finance function in a carve-out, standalone company, or transformation environment.
• Experience defining finance target operating models, governance structures, and role frameworks.
• Knowledge of K3 and IFRS reporting frameworks.
• Experience in energy, infrastructure, or asset-intensive industries.
• Experience with AI-enabled finance processes and automation.
• Experience in ERP selection processes (RFP, requirements definition, vendor evaluation).
