We are hiring Senior Test Engineer (Python) for Sweden.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer (6+ years) with Python experience. As product portfolios grow increasingly complex — spanning more electronic and software-based components — the demand for seamless connectivity, integration and user-friendly system solutions continues to rise. Shorter time-to-market pressures also demand robust, modular and long-lasting platforms that can support rapid customer adaptations. In this role, you will help ensure the quality and stability of system solutions, verifying that they meet requirements for performance, stability, stress, reliability, robustness and specifications.
Education:
- Background/education in Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop test plans for system releases
- Design test cases based on customer requirements and feedback
- Configure and improve test environments to support increased automation
- Conduct both manual and automated testing
- Create new automated test cases
- Document and report test progress and outcomes
Technical Competencies:
- Experience working in automated test environments
- Strong knowledge of Python
- Experience with embedded systems
- Strong technical understanding of complex product portfolios
- Experience with system test cases (manual, automated, or both)
- Knowledge of embedded systems, open systems, Linux, Python, Kubernetes, Selenium, Jira, JAMA and ISTQB
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written
- Comfortable working and sharing information in an international environment
- Works well both within the team and with external stakeholders
- Takes a fact-based approach, with a clear focus on quality in everything delivered
