Diagnostic Engineer

We are hiring Diagnostic Engineer for Sweden.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Diagnostic Engineer to join its Repair & Diagnostic team. The role centres on creating and maintaining diagnostic and fault tracing capabilities for the Client’s products, ensuring Service Market technicians have correct, understandable and reliable information through diagnostic tools.

Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or another relevant field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop & Verify Fault Tracing: Create, maintain, and physically or virtually verify diagnostic and troubleshooting information (including DTC data) for the Clients Product to ensure high quality and reliable access for Service Market technicians using Vodia.

• Cross-Functional Alignment: Participate in cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment across internal and external areas.

Technical Skills & Expertise:

• 8+ years of relevant experience as an HW Electrical and Electronics Engineer Specialist.
• More than 5 years of experience working with heavy-duty engines and/or drives, including practical hands-on knowledge.
• Documented knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM) / technical documentation and CAD.
• Knowledge of workshop technicians’ way of working, with a customer-focused approach.
• Preferred: experience with diagnostic tools (Vodia) and systems, or other automotive equivalents.
• Merit: experience within Industrial machines and/or the Marine segment.
• Merit: experience within electromobility.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent analytical skills for fault tracing and verification of diagnostic information.
• Customer-centric mindset with an understanding of the service technician’s needs.
• Strong ability to collaborate effectively as a team player.
• Able to work cross-functionally and communicate clearly in fluent English, spoken and written.
